• How did you enter this profession of teaching and training?

I always had a flair for teaching and educating the youth is what I have always been keen to do. So I decided to take up teaching. I have aslo been the chairperson of UNIVERSITY for BMM

• Being a coordinator, do you also teach any subjects?

Yes

• How has been your career graph over the years and change in role at different levels?

My career has always been challenging and very enjoyable so far, being the coordinator as well as the Head of Department for BMM in KC college

• And now as a Cordinator how are the responsibilities different from that of a Teacher?

I get involved in more of administrative work and this actually sometimes hinders me from helping my students.

• Tell us something about the college

Well, KC is a great college and yes it is really coming off age especially for BMM since we have great infrastructure to support the requirements of our students!

• What are your future plans for the college?

Well, we are striving to get more and more international linkages, so that we get the best exposure for our students and give them more learning

• What are the extra curricular activities in your college?

Extar Curricular activities include ORIENTATION for our first year students,BLITZKREIG, annual festivals,and guest lectures

• There has been a lot of news about BMM being introduced in Marathi? What do  you feel about the same?

I appreciate the same and feel it is a great initiative. Students get to learn about media in their own language and this really imparts more knowledge to more and more youngsters.

• How has the mindset of the students changed over the years in respect of their career and their values of discipline and culture?

 They are willing to learn more and grasp more knowledge. Also many of them want to go in  for internships and they have also become more job oriented

• And as a person what is your mission, long-term objective or goal?

I want to make KC BMM be the best education for the youth

 

• Is there any placement assistance that the college provides after students graduate from your college?

Yes

• Is there any other course that your college provides?

Yes, BA, B.COM,BAF, BSC,B.SC (Bio technology)

• And if a student has failed to secure admission into your college by say 2 or 3 marks, then is there any other way that he can get in or any quota?

Yes, Sports, Reserve and other culture Quotas

• What are the prospects after BMM?

The field of media is very vast and hence some join JOBS, some Masters In Media, Communication and advertising
